Dr. med. Daniel Kirschenbaum

Overview

Daniel Kirschenbaum is a coworker of the Institute of Neuropathology, lead by Adriano Aguzzi. His main focus lied in the development of 3D - histology technologies in the last years. These methods are now routinely used in the University Hospital of Zurich. Among the applications are projects where the entire vascular tree of the brain is reconstructed. This approach is especially useful for investigating how the vascular tree changes in stroke models.
